What if my Law Firm has IP Access?
Please understand that when you enter CCH by means of IP access, you are an
anonymous user to CCH. Since you did not identify yourself with an ID and Password,
CCH only knows that you are one of X number of users at XYZ account.
All customization, including modifying your CCH Browser Favorites preferences, may
not work. Why? For example, you might choose and submit your preferences for
CCH Browser Favorites , but then the next anonymous user may change those preferences
to reflect his/her own needs. Subsequently, you should always check your preferences
to make sure they are set the way you want them to be.
A note about preferences for IP Automatic Access customers: When you
are first selecting your preferences in the "Set Display Options"
page, make sure that you click on the box next to "Access CCH with CCH IP
Automatic Access (must be an IP customer)." This will ensure that the link
to the document, publication, or topic that you saved takes you to the IP
Automatic Access login screen versus the standard login screen.
