Complete Sarbanes-Oxley statute now available on RBsource

In response to requests from customers, RBsource has been enhanced to include the entire Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Previously, some sections of the Act that did not address securities laws or that amended existing securities laws were not included. You’ll also find that the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 Cross-Reference Table offers a fast and accurate way to relate the sections and subsections of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002 to the existing laws that it amended and to the new law that it created.

What Are the Experts Saying about Antitrust Enforcement Trends?
Presented by Jeffrey May, J.D.
This session will include a discussion of how agencies such as the Department of Justice Antitrust Division and the Federal Trade Commission have recently been involved in several high profile trials including merger challenges, criminal trials, and civil non-merger actions (such as the Apple e-books case) and how the trend toward litigation by these agencies has dispelled the notion among some antitrust practitioners that the government will generally settle to avoid litigation. Space is limited. Register for the session of your choice using the links below.

Training Tip for Kluwer Arbitration

Can I access any mediation resources on Kluwer Arbitration?
Yes. In December 2013, Wolters Kluwer added several new resources to Kluwer Arbitration to meet customer demand for information on mediation. The additions include a practice tool, a blog and five books:

IMI Mediator Tool is a practice tool developed in conjunction with the International Mediation Institute (IMI).The IMI Mediator Tool lets you search and compare profiles of certified mediators while sorting by location, language, mediation style, and practice area.

Kluwer Mediation Blog is accessible by clicking on the Blog tab. You can sign up for email updates of new blog postings and also search articles from within Kluwer Arbitration.

You can also access Kluwer Mediation Blog outside of Kluwer Arbitration.

Five Books can be accessed via the “Books” tab or the “All Books” link within the Books section and then sort by title or author. You can also use Advance Search to limit the Source field to one or more of these titles:

  1. ADR in Business: Practice and Issues Across Countries and Cultures I — Goldsmith/Ingen-Housz (2006)
  2. ADR in Business: Practice and Issues Across Countries and Cultures Vol. II — Ingen-Housz (2010)
  3. Commercial Mediation in Europe: An Empirical Study of the User Experience — Filler (2012)
  4. Global Trends in Mediation — Alexander (editor, 2006)
  5. International and Comparative Mediation — Alexander (2009)

NOTE: When clicking the above links, you will be prompted to enter your IntelliConnect or Kluwer User ID, or if your firm has direct IP Authentication access, simply click the IP ACCESS link to log in.
