This new library on the CCH Internet Research NetWork is a powerful resource for attorneys practicing in the federal court system. The Judicial Research component combines Aspen Publishers’ Almanac of the Federal Judiciary and the Directory of Federal Court Guidelines into one library covering more than 2,000 judges. The Library also includes annual financial disclosure statements and Senate biographical questionnaires not available in print.
The Evidence component brings together Aspen Publishers’ three evidence titles — Wigmore on Evidence; New Wigmore: A Treatise on Evidence; and Evidence: Practice under the Rules — to provide a comprehensive analytical and practical assessment of the Federal Rules of Evidence and how they apply to specific cases and issues. Accessed through the CCH Internet Research NetWork, China Laws for Foreign Business is a vital source of information for organizations conducting business in the People’s Republic of China.

NEW EDITIONS
U.S. Master Wage-Hour Guide
This new book details all the important revisions and additions to laws governing wages and hours, including the Fair Minimum Wage Act of 2007, effective July 24, 2007.
The Guide explains how these updated laws apply to employers and employees both in government and private industry and entails the new three-step increase in the federal minimum wage rate. It also covers the rules against discrimination in pay on the basis of sex and regulates the employment of minors. In addition, it covers the restrictions imposed on both the amount of wages that can be garnished and the protection afforded migrant and seasonal agricultural workers. Also covered is the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and white-collar exemption regulations.

Only want synonyms for an individual term in your search expression?
With the Search Tool for 'Automatically include Thesaurus' turned off (unchecked), you can use the $ symbol immediately after a term to selectively substitute synonyms for that term when conducting a word search. For example, a search for 'compensation and disclosure$' will include 'consent, disclose, disclosed, divulge, divulged, informed consent' as synonyms for disclosure but no synonyms for compensation.
