Q: How can I narrow a set of search results by both Document Type and Library filters?
A: IntelliConnect allows the use of multiple filters so you can easily combine a Document Type filter with a Library filter, with a Jurisdiction filter, etc., to narrow your results to a more specific set of documents. You'll see a black triangle highlighting the chosen filter(s). Your results are automatically restricted to only those documents that match your filter(s). Note: you can remove the applied filters by clicking the "Clear all" command or clicking the "X" next to a specific filter (located at top of search results).

New Patent Law blog offers forum for patent attorneys operating in Europe
Kluwer Law International has launched a new Patent Blog, www.KluwerPatentBlog.com, designed to be the leading discussion forum for patent attorneys and lawyers operating in Europe.
"As we enter the second decade of the new millennium, the world of international patents seems to be more active than ever before," said Brian Cordery of Bristows, who, with Peter Burgers of Brinkhof, is a Managing Editor of the blog. "Since a unitary European Union patent system, or a European Patents Court, is at least five, if not ten or twenty years away, the best that can be done is to obtain as clear a picture as possible of the transnational situation to provide complete and accurate advice. That's what this blog aims to do."

A customizable course is limited to participants from a single firm where only one person needs to register. That registrant will share the connection details (for a Live Meeting and telephone conference call) with others in the firm.
