Comment Letters—coming
September
SEC Staff Comment
Letters is a new fully searchable database of SEC staff comment
letters and issuer responses. These letters provide important guidance and
insight into how the SEC is interpreting and handling issues.
The database is
organized by filing category—registrations, periodic and current reports,
mutual funds, proxy materials, Williams Act filings (mergers & acquisitions)
and other filings. Within each filing category you will be able to search by
specific document types such as forms and schedules. Other search options
include subject, public-availability date and citation. In addition, handy links
to the text of the source form allow quick reference to SEC disclosure
requirements. As the database contains more than 50,000 documents and is growing
rapidly, these improved search options will expedite and simplify your research.
Privacy
Law in Marketing
expands to two-volumes
Although Privacy Law in
Marketing was introduced in July, there is enough new content already to
require a second volume—a clear indication of how much this area of law is
growing. The second volume is being sent to subscribers on September 21 in
special Report No. 2A.
Also, as of September 4, Privacy
Law in Marketing can be found on
the Intellectual Property Computer & Internet Law tab (as well as the
Antitrust & Trade Regulation tab) on the CCH Internet Research NetWork.
Smart

Smart Charts allow for quick and easy

July 2007
On August 29, 2007 we were alerted to an
error in the most recent edition of this book. The error affected the
Solicitation Provisions and Contract Clauses (Matrix) found on pages 1665–1696
of the book. To effectively manage this for all of our customers, we determined
that the best solution was to provide replacement pages of the entire Matrix to
all purchasers of this edition, and these were mailed on September 13. If you
did not receive your replacement pages, please contact Customer Service at
