As a follow-up to Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act: Law, Explanation & Analysis, this book focuses on the SEC and CFTC aspects of the new law, explaining every provision affecting the areas of securities, derivatives and corporate governance in greater depth. - Commentary from the SEC and leading practitioners in the industry who offer practical guidance on the law's impact. These leading practitioners are also members of our CCH Securities Advisory Board and include James Doty of Baker Botts LLP, Ralph Ferrara of Dewey & LeBoeuf and Simon Lorne of Millennium Partners LP (all of whom are former SEC General Counsel), as well as Andy Bernstein of Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, Ann Yerger, Executive Director, Council of Institutional Investors, and Former Delaware Vice Chancellor, Steven Lamb.

These quick reference tools allow users to navigate the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, as well as related CCH explanations, amended laws, effective dates and other source materials.
Importantly, the tools also help users quickly find and track the ensuing regulatory response (i.e., rulemaking, guidance, studies and enforcement) that began shortly after the Act's passage and will soon escalate. Organized by topic, the charts offer a summary of each Dodd-Frank Act provision, with links to the full analysis, the text of the Act provisions, the text of existing laws as amended, and related regulatory materials and cases reported in the CCH Federal Banking Law Reporter and CCH Federal Securities Law Reporter, as they become available. Users can build custom charts in seconds, targeting all or selected topics. Users can also export the charts into Microsoft Word or Excel format for circulation while retaining live links to source material. Recent changes will be highlighted in yellow.
