PLI to Host Annual "SEC Speaks" Program
The Practising Law Institute will host its annual "SEC
Speaks" conference on February 9-10, 2007. The seminar will be held at the
International Trade Center in Washington, D.C., and will be available by live
Webcast and by remote videocast in New York City. The course allows participants
a unique opportunity to hear directly from those who make and enforce SEC
policy.
Major themes will include executive compensation
disclosure, SEC practice priorities and inspections and enforcement. The faculty
includes both current and former SEC commissioners and staff members as well as
leading securities law scholars and experts from private practice. Special
workshops, including the latest developments in accounting, investment
management, enforcement and compliance inspections will be offered.
